近年来，我校紧紧围绕“建博更大”的重要任务施行了一系列的举措，在加大高层次人才引进力度的同时注重科研内涵建设，科研管理制度体系逐步完善，充分激发了科研人员的研究活力。2019年，我校高质量科研论文的发表数量较往年有所突破，创历史新高，取得喜人的成绩。
五年来，我校人员在影响因子大于10的期刊上共发表论文16篇，其中2019年发表论文9篇（详见附表一）。金俊飞团队、汪丽燕团队、邹珍友团队以及刘昉博士的研究均以研究型论文的形式发表，主要研究内容如下：
金俊飞团队的研究证实了血清AKR1B10是肝细胞癌（HCC）新的诊断标志物。该研究成果有助于提高肝癌的早期诊断，便于肝癌的早期治疗，从而提高肝癌患者的生存率和生存质量，有很大的社会效益和经济效益。
汪丽燕团队发现circrRHOT1（has-circRNA-102034）是一种保守的circRNA，并且其在肝癌组织中高表达。circrRHOT1可通过招募TIP60继而启动NR2F6的表达，最后抑制肝癌的发展过程。circrRHOT1可以作为一个潜在的，并且临床意义显著的肝癌生存预后靶标。
邹珍友研究团队设计制备了一种可螯合铁离子降低自由基的5-YHEDA多肽，并将一段可被脑血管上皮细胞膜低密度脂蛋白受体(LDLR)识别、结合的肽段连接到该多肽上构成bs-5-YHEDA多肽。多肽可借助脑血管上皮细胞表面LDLR介导的内吞穿越血-脑屏障进入脑内螯合过剩的铁离子，减少自由基生成损伤大脑，延缓了类AD神经退行性疾病的发展，改善了老化鼠的认知功能。
刘昉博士的研究发现CPR可以抑制心肌细胞增殖并表明lncRNA参与调节心肌细胞增殖和心脏修复，该研究提供了一个基于lncRNA的有效的心脏修复和再生的治疗策略。
赵海潞教授、苏强博士团队分别在《The New England Journal of Medicine》期刊上发表评论性论文1篇，《The New England Journal of Medicine》为世界著名医学杂志，影响因子高达79.26；李婉老师在《Lancet Diabetes Endocrinol》期刊上发表评论性论文1篇。
此外，据ESI数据库2019年11月15日公布的最新数据，我校共有6篇论文入选ESI高被引论文。第一作者或通讯作者署名我校的论文3篇，分别为：陈旭教授为通讯作者（王娟博士为第一作者）的论文1篇、苏敏副教授为第一作者的论文1篇、黎荣博士为通讯作者的论文1篇；非第一作者或通讯作者署名的论文3篇（详见附表二）。
